We are searching for the best talent for an Hardware Engineer Technical Lead role, to join our team located in Yokneam, Israel.

Purpose:

We are looking for a talented HW Engineering Technical Leader to join our Cost improvement technical operation department (CIP).

The cost improvement technical platform is responsible for leading & executing all technological cost improvement projects in Johnson & Johnson Med Tech HTC site .

The team is specialized in identifying and executing Cost improvements opportunities across all of HTC’s platforms while maintaining a 3-year rolling plan of cost improvement projects pool.

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading the CIP Technical team , ensures that the required capabilities within the group are covered and future technologies are in the scope of the group by motivating the team members & seeking for their professional improvement.

  • Reviews the CIP technical group plans and deliverables , leads group meetings , Reviews project requirements and allocate resources, plans the department budget for all the HW activities and synchronizes with the System engineering activities.

  • Writes / update Production & POD procedures including controlling the PLM system (Agile) and managing the ECO from HW perspective.

  • Reducing the company costs by leading ,conduct and implementing all HW activities as part of the company cost improvement projects pool.

  • Initiate technical ideas which eventually will contribute to the organization current/new products savings by improving the product design , production processes in-house and at Biosense Webster worldwide affiliates including at Biosense subcontractors.

  • Working with each of the cross functional platforms technical SME (LCM) on any new potential design relate to a specific platform product in order to assess the project feasibility and savings.

  • Collaborate with the testers team for development / updating Jigs & fixtures to support the CIP design Designs new parts/systems

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or practical electrical engineering.

  • At least 5 years of experience in engineering in an R&D and mass production environment and electromechanical industry

  • 2 years of experience in a PMO role (as part of HW team) - an advantage

  • Experience with multidisciplinary products

  • Analog or Digital hardware design, mechanical engineering understanding – an advantage

  • Experience in Firmware, VHDL, and MATLAB – an advantage

  • Good knowledge in reading electrical board design and mechanical drawings

  • Experience, knowledge and ability in design changes of electronic boards, include analytical ability in understanding electrical schematics.

  • Knowledge of electrical circuit design software (Orcad preferred)

  • Good recognition with electronic test equipment and measuring devices (for example: Oscilloscope, Pulse Generator, LCR Meter..etc)

  • Experience working with subcontractors in electro-mechanical industry. (Medical device is preferred)

  • Strong knowledge of production processes and procedures

  • Experience working with R&D team for new potential design changes derived from NPI products
