Job Description:

Position Overview:

The senior accountant will be responsible for managing the process for performing overall General Accounting and Sub ledger maintenance as well as Reporting for the company.

Essential Job Functions:

· Manage the GL and sub ledgers in Oracle.

· Monitor Aging reports.

· Prepare monthly accruals and prepaid expenses.

· Review monthly expenses, investigate variances and fluctuations.

· Prepare account reconciliations.

· Cash management.

· Ensure that required documentation and authorization, control processes are in place.

· Assist Supervisor with various projects.

· Ability to work under pressure and work flexible hours when needed.

· Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

· Must be self-motivated, well organized with attention to detail

· 5+ years or more experience in Accounting or Audit and have good understanding on Accounting Principles and Internal Control.

· Effective verbal and written communication with all levels of the company in English and Japanese

· Ability to work with other stakeholders outside Accounting & Finance

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment managing multiple priorities
