Department: Strategic Customer Group, Growth Capabilities & New Business Development
Role Overview
This is a high-impact, high-visibility role within the Strategic Customer Group, designed to strengthen engagement with non-clinical stakeholders across India’s rapidly evolving healthcare ecosystem. The Manager – Non-Clinical Stakeholder Management will be responsible for building and nurturing relationships with key administrative and financial decision-makers in hospitals in Strategic Customer Groups (SCG) / Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), including:

Unit Biomedical Engineers & Central Biomedical Heads

Unit finance Leaders

Other Influencers in capital, consumable and operational decision-making in the hospital healthcare provider eco-system
The role will be pivotal in identifying, curating and shaping strategic partnerships, driving value-based conversations and enabling long-term collaborations that align with Johnson & Johnson’s mission to improve patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
External Stakeholder Engagement

Develop and execute engagement strategies for non-clinical stakeholders across key accounts and strategic hospital networks.

Understand hospital operations, procurement cycles, capital planning, and biomedical workflows

Tailor value propositions relevant to this customer group

Collaborate with sales, marketing, and clinical teams
· Excellence in delivery of integrated solutions that meet stakeholder needs.
Internal Stakeholder Management

Navigate and work effectively with internal functions including marketing, strategic customer group, regional & national sales leaders and business unit leaders across all business units

Lead cross-functional (legal & compliance, finance, supply chain etc.) initiatives to understand, address stakeholder requirements and ensure seamless execution.

Drive alignment across business units to support enterprise-level account strategies.
Market Intelligence & Strategic Insights
-
Provide strategic input to leadership on market dynamics, stakeholder priorities, and partnership opportunities.

Monitor trends in hospital consolidation (greenfield and brownfield), insurance penetration, and healthcare infrastructure development.

Identify opportunities arising from the growth of IDNs and private equity-backed hospital chains.

Leverage insights to inform account planning, solution development, and stakeholder engagement.
Qualifications & Experience
-
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or Business.Tier-1 MBA preferred.
-
Experience: 8–12 years in global pharmaceutical companies like Eli Lilly or medical device or healthcare technology companies such as Abbott, Medtronic, Boston Scientific, Smith & Nephew, Zimmer, Stryker, GE Healthcare, Philips, or Siemens or marketing and engagement roles in healthcare provider set-ups.
Proven track record in Key Account Management or Strategic Account Management at an enterprise / network level

Experience engaging with non-clinical and financial buyers is essential.

Exposure to hospital administration, biomedical engineering, and procurement processes is highly desirable.
