Job Description:

As the W&L Compliance Lead, you will serve as the single point of contact for quality and compliance within the Weighing & Logistics (W&L) department.  You will oversee the quality and compliance processes that are either owned or supported by the department and drive continuous improvement initiatives to ensure compliance with global standards and optimize operational excellence.

This role requires strategic leadership, knowledge of regulatory compliance & industry standards, and strong collaboration skills to influence change and uphold the highest standards of pharmaceutical manufacturing and logistics.
 

Key Responsibilities
 

  • Act as the primary contact for quality and compliance within the W&L department.

  • Ensure overall departmental inspection readiness.

  • Represent the department as spokesperson during audits.

  • Own and lead Quality Risk Management processes across operations.

  • Serve as a change agent, implementing clear processes, roles & responsibilities, tools, training and metrics to enhance compliance and efficiency.

  • Lead or coach in complex incident investigations, FMEAs, and CAPA activities.

  • Collaborate with internal and external partners to align on compliance strategies.
     

Qualifications
Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemistry, Supply Chain, Logistics or equivalent experience.
     

Experience:

  • Proven experience in chemical manufacturing/logistics and pharmaceutical compliance.

  • Strong understanding of quality compliance, change management, and risk assessment methodologies.

  • Knowledge of cross-contamination control and Annex 1 guidelines is a plus.

Skills:

  • Excellent project management, planning, and coordination abilities.

  • Strong communicator, hands-on, and a true team player. You easily connect with various stakeholders, including operations, technical services, contractors, management, and others.

  • Strong people skills, including influencing and conflict resolution.

  • Ability to work independently, make decisions autonomously, and deliver results.

  • Fluent in English and Dutch (written and verbal).
