Job Description:

We are searching for the best talent for Insurance Supervisor

Purpose:

We are seeking an Insurance Coordinator to manage corporate insurance policies across Latin America, ensuring compliance, operational excellence, and alignment with global Corporate Risk Management guidelines. This role will be responsible for coordinating renewals, claims, accounting activities, audits, and maintaining strong relationships with brokers, insurers, and internal stakeholders.

You will be responsible for:

Insurance Program Management:

  • Administer and coordinate all corporate insurance policies in Latin America (Property, Liability, D&O, Marine, Cyber, etc.).
  • Ensure alignment with global Corporate Risk Management standards and requirements.
  • Conduct risk assessments and recommend improvements to insurance programs.

Renewals & Operations:

  • Lead the full renewal process, including data collection, application submissions, and negotiation with brokers and insurers.
  • Review policy terms, limits, deductibles, and coverage conditions to ensure they meet regional needs and corporate policies.

Claims Management

  • Coordinate the end-to-end claims process: reporting, documentation, follow-up, reserve tracking, and communication with insurers.
  • Provide timely updates to internal teams impacted by claims.

Accounting & Controls:

  • Execute accounting activities related to insurance programs (accruals, allocations, provisions).
  • Monitor premium payments, reimbursements, deductibles, and invoices.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external audit requirements.

Relationship Management & Governance:

  • Act as the key point of contact for regional and global Risk Management teams.
  • Participate in meetings with Corporate Risk Management and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Support projects and initiatives aimed at improving insurance processes.

Pension Plan (Preferred)

  • Assist with topics related to pension plans, including reviewing coverage, interacting with providers, and understanding basic actuarial concepts.

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Law, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in corporate insurance, policy administration, or Risk Management.
  • Strong knowledge of renewals, claims handling, and risk analysis.
  • Experience with insurance-related accounting processes.
  • Knowledge of Pension Plans is a significant plus.
  • Advanced English required (daily interaction with Corporate Risk Management).
  • Spanish at an intermediate/advanced level preferred;
