Job Description:

Heart Recovery is currently seeking a Product Management Co-Op, Patient Management Solutions to join our team located in Danvers, MA.

Role Summary:

The Product Management Co-op will support a team focused on capital equipment and digital technologies that enhance clinical workflows and customer experience related to Impella heart pump technology. The co-op will assist with insight generation, product development, and cross-functional collaboration to translate customer needs into product decisions.

This role is well suited for students who are energized by the intersection of technology, customer needs, and business context, and who can collaborate effectively with product development teams to support product strategy and execution.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

Insight Generation

  • Support building an understanding of customer profiles, target markets, evolving technology trends, competitive dynamics, and unmet needs relevant to capital equipment and digital solutions.

  • Support VOC execution by organizing inputs from customer interactions and internal stakeholders and synthesizing them into actionable themes.

  • Contribute to clear, consistent VOC documentation practices improve continuity and reuse of insights.

  • Assist with preparing concise summaries and recommendations that connect customer/market insights to product discussions.

Roadmap & Business Plan Development

  • Assist with drafting and maintaining product documentation that supports product planning discussions.

  • Support evaluation of competitive technologies and summarize implications for differentiation and prioritization.

  • Drive future product roadmap development by synthesizing insights that inform strategic prioritization and ensure alignment across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

Required Education & Experience

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or MBA in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Human Factors, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Demonstrated ability (through coursework, internships, or projects) to synthesize information and communicate clearly in written and presentation formats.

Required Skills & Abilities

  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills; able to turn diverse inputs into structured outputs to drive decision-making.

  • Strong collaboration skills; comfortable partnering with internal stakeholders across different clinical & technical teams.

  • Strong organization and time management; able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in an environment with competing priorities.

  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and clearly communicate both prioritization and the underlying rationale to stakeholders.

  • Clear written and verbal communication; comfortable creating meeting summaries, readouts, and slide content.

  • Demonstrated ability to interface directly with external customers on clinical or product-related topics.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$23.00/hr to $51.50/hr

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

The expected pay range for this position is between $23.00 per hour and $51.50 per hour but will be based on candidate's program year, discipline, degree and/or experience. Co-Ops/Interns are eligible to participate in Company sponsored employee medical benefits in accordance with the terms of the plan. Co-Ops and Interns are eligible for the following sick time benefits: up to 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington, up to 56 hours per calendar year. Co-Ops and Interns are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension).
