Become the owner for an EMEA country, and take charge of its month-end closing activities - prepare and review monthly journal entries and account reconciliations for assigned general ledger accounts (accounting of rebates, consignment, sales deferral etc.)
Possess a solid understanding of inter-departmental and cross-team process dependencies
Cultivate a strong understanding of the local business and work closely with the local teams – frequent communication and cooperation with business unit finance teams
Assist Team Lead with requests from audit (internal and PWC)
Be the tech savvy advocate for supporting automation and Finance improvement initiatives, also implement them within the team
Delve deep into discrepancies and resolve them promptly
Support ad-hoc projects, including technical initiatives and new business projects
Support synergy within the team and uplift the team spirit and teamwork
Ensure strong internal controls are in place in order to achieve “adequate” internal and external audit ratings (accuracy of General Ledger accounting entries with GAAP, Compliance and SOX requirements)
We would love to hear from YOU, if you have:
- Bachelor degree
- 1-2 year(s) working experience
- Basic accounting & good financial knowledge
- Good understanding of the Income Statement (P&L) and Balance Sheet (B/S)
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in preparing and entering financial information
- MS Office literacy (Advanced MS Excel knowledge required
- Basic ERP knowledge (SAP)
- Proficient level of written and oral English
- Persistent/committed and able to work under time pressure
- Organized/ time-oriented and output-driven
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills with an ability to work with people at different levels and in remote locations
