What you will do

We are seeking an experienced Anaplan Technical Lead or Senior Architect to design, govern, and optimize our enterprise planning architecture. This role will focus on delivering scalable, secure, and high-performing Anaplan solutions across commercial planning, financial forecasting, and workforce planning. You will act as the technical authority for Anaplan, ensuring best practices, architectural integrity, and alignment with enterprise standards.

How you will do it

  • Solution Architecture & Design

Define and maintain the Anaplan architectural blueprint, ensuring scalability, performance, and compliance with global standards.

  • Translate complex business requirements into robust technical designs, leveraging Anaplan best practices and minimizing technical debt.

  • Technical Governance

Establish and enforce governance for model lifecycle management, ALM (Application Lifecycle Management), and workspace optimization.

  • Define and enforce modelling standards, naming conventions, and modular design principles.

  • Conduct architectural reviews and quality assurance for all Anaplan builds.

  • Integration Leadership

Design and oversee integrations between Anaplan and enterprise systems (e.g., Snowflake, Salesforce, Workday, One Stream, Callidus).

  • Ensure data integrity, security, and efficient data flows across platforms.

  • Performance Optimization

Monitor and optimize model performance, workspace utilization, and calculation efficiency.

  • Implement advanced techniques for large-scale models and complex calculations.

  • Establish and maintain governance frameworks for data security, access control, and model lifecycle management.

  • Technical Enablement

Mentor and guide model builders, administrators, and technical teams.

  • Develop technical documentation, standards, and reusable components.

  • Innovation & Best Practices

Stay current with Anaplan platform updates and emerging capabilities.

  • Look for ways to adjust the apps to be more intuitive

  • Champion the Anaplan Center of Excellence (CoE) and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Delivery Support

Collaborate with Product Owners and business stakeholders to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with strategic goals.

  • Support UAT, release readiness, and technical troubleshooting.

What we look for

Required

  • Minimum 8+ years of experience in Anaplan or similar enterprise planning platforms.

  • Proven experience as a Technical Architect, Solution Architect, or Senior Anaplan Model Builder in large-scale implementations.

  • Deep technical expertise in Anaplan, including model design and build, ALM, workspace management, performance optimization, and sparsity management.

  • Strong knowledge of data integration concepts, including Cloud Works, APIs, ETL processes, and ADO integration.

  • Proven experience with User Access Management (UAM) and governance best practices.

  • Solid background in management reporting and workflow design and implementation.

  • Experience working within architectural standards and enterprise governance frameworks.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to manage complex technical challenges.

  • Strong communication skills for engaging with technical and business stakeholders.

  • Fluent in English (written and verbal).

Preferred

  • Certified Anaplan Solution Architect or Master Anaplanner.

  • Territory & Quota and Sales Capacity management.

  • Experience with integration tools and platforms (e.g., Informatica, Mule Soft).

  • Background in multinational corporations with complex planning needs.

  • Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, The Anaplan Way).

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
