What you will do

• Carry out inspection on switchboard, power point, capacitor bank and lighting and all other duties in compliance with Tenaga Nasional Berhad (IEE) standards.
• Understand the environment, health and safety (EHS) requirements and processes for work tasks and the elimination of workplace hazards.

How you will do it

• Provide consultation relating to electrical or any other safety legislation matters.
• Liaise with legislation body on all electrical safety issue.
• Diagnose the electrical power breakdown and propose solution during power failure.
• Develop employees who are undergoing Chargeman/Wireman certification courses.
• Conduct monthly inspections on main switchboard and factory electrical system.
• Upgrade factory electrical facilities.
• Assist, advise and review electrical design on products.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance work in the plant.
• Coordinate and supervise work done by contractors to ensure standard are met.
• Provide 24 Hours standby for emergency response.
• Ensure compliance to requirement and standards of Tenaga Nasional Berhad on any matter related to factory electrical system.
• Uphold safety values, perform work activities in a safe manner.
• Perform and commit to other duties and activities assigned by superior.

What we look for

• SPM/Diploma in Engineering or related fields.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Manufacturing environment.
• Chargeman A4 certification is required.
