We are seeking a skilled Facilities Engineer with technology expertise to support our corporate office facility operations. This role combines technical facilities management with hands-on maintenance responsibilities, focusing on UPS systems management and comprehensive floor maintenance operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Technology & UPS Systems:
-
Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems throughout the facility
-
Perform routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance on UPS equipment
-
Coordinate with vendors for UPS system repairs and upgrades
-
Maintain accurate documentation of UPS system performance and maintenance activities
-
Respond to power-related emergencies and system alarms
Floor & General Maintenance:
-
Execute comprehensive floor maintenance programs including cleaning, waxing, and restoration
-
Perform routine maintenance tasks across all facility systems including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing
-
Conduct regular facility inspections to identify and address maintenance needs
-
Coordinate with external contractors for specialized maintenance and repair work
-
Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment
Operational Support:
-
Support daily facility operations to ensure optimal workplace environment
-
Respond promptly to facility-related service requests and emergencies
-
Assist with space planning and minor renovation projects
-
Ensure compliance with safety protocols and building codes
-
Participate in facility audits and assessments
Required Qualifications:
-
Associate degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related technical field, or equivalent experience
-
3+ years of facilities maintenance experience in corporate or commercial environments
-
Proven experience with UPS systems installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting
-
Strong knowledge of floor maintenance techniques, equipment, and materials
-
Basic electrical and mechanical aptitude
-
Familiarity with HVAC, plumbing, and building automation systems
-
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
-
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Relevant technical certifications (electrical, HVAC, or facilities management)
-
Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
-
Knowledge of building codes and safety regulations
-
Previous experience in commercial real estate or corporate facilities
