Position Overview:

The Senior Contracts Manager will be permanently based at the site office, providing full-time on-site contract administration and management support. This role demands expert-level capabilities in handling sophisticated contractual situations and maintaining formal correspondence with multiple stakeholders.

What this job involves:

Contract Expertise:

• Comprehensive expert knowledge of FIDIC contract suites.
• Demonstrated proficiency in contract practice, administration, and interpretation
• Proven ability to manage complex contractual relationships and obligations

Specialized Competencies:

• Change management: Expert handling of variations, modifications, and scope changes
• Claims management: Preparation, evaluation, negotiation, and resolution of claims
• Risk assessment and mitigation within contractual frameworks
• Excellent letter drafting and formal correspondence skills

Desired skills and experience:

• Minimum 15 years in contract management roles, with at least 5 years at senior level
• Proven track record managing high-value, complex construction or infrastructure contracts
• Experience working in site-based environments on large-scale projects
• Strong negotiation and dispute resolution capabilities

Other skills and experience should include:

• FIDIC accreditation or certification
• Professional memberships (e.g., RICS, ICE, CIOB)
• Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or Law
• Experience in specify sector: e.g., infrastructure, commercial construction, energy projects
