Job Responsibilities

• Design & Development:

Create, design, and develop electrical systems, components, products, and equipment.

• Testing & Analysis:

Conduct extensive testing and analysis to ensure that electrical systems, components, and products perform as intended and are safe and reliable.

• Technical Documentation:

Produce technical drawings, specifications, circuit diagrams, and reports for various projects and systems.

• Project Management:

Develop project plans, manage budgets, and oversee technicians and craftspeople to ensure timely completion of projects.

• Compliance & Safety:

Ensure all designs and installations conform to industry standards, codes, and regulations, performing risk assessments and ensuring safety.

• Troubleshooting:

Diagnose and resolve electrical issues that arise during the design, manufacturing, or operational phases of a project.

• Collaboration:

Liaise with clients, contractors, manufacturers, and other engineering teams to discuss and integrate electrical systems into larger projects.

Key Skills

• Technical Skills:

Proficiency in operating CAD/CAM software, a strong understanding of electrical theory, and skills in performing complex calculations.

• Problem-Solving:

Ability to identify electrical faults, analyze performance data, and propose effective solutions.

• Project Management:

Skills in planning, resource allocation, budgeting, and coordinating teams.

• Communication:

Ability to write technical reports, give presentations, and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

• Attention to Detail:

Meticulous approach to design, calculations, testing, and documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
