We are currently seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our Project and Development Services team in Taipei. Experience in any of the following practices: corporate office green field and interiors

What this job involves:

  • Works as part of the project team, assisting with the development of scope & schedule for project work and executing minor project management duties.

  • Assist project team on projects and assignments.

  • Manage project commercial management including cost report and payment management.

  • Demonstrate proficiency in the use and application of all project management technology as required for assigned projects.

  • Assist in developing scope and schedule for assigned projects.

  • May conduct and will document all weekly meetings.

  • Coordinate activities of sub-contractors.

  • May manage minor renovation projects independently.

  • May assume responsibility for projects up to 10k SF with minimal oversight.

  • Interact and may negotiate with contractors and subcontractors.

  • Demonstrate a proactive focus on meeting client and project requirements in a timely and cost effective manner.

  • Makes independent decisions with regards to their specific job duties.

  • Seeks guidance on decisions outside work scope.

  • Tracking, preparing documentation packages, and securing Landlord and 3rd Party Approvals, as needed

  • Coordinate and track all Vendor RFP’s.

  • Maintain accurate and consistent electronic files and documentation.

  • Fluent in English and Mandarin

  • Diploma or Bachelors’ degree in Accounting, Business, Library System Management, Architecture, Engineering, Quantity Surveying or Construction Management, preferred.

  • 1-3 years as Project Coordinator or Construction/Architecture graduate

  • Previous Project Coordinator

  • Basic knowledge of construction, architecture or commercial real estate industry

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with executive level internal & external clients

  • Organizational & detailed-oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage differing needs of the business.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products

  • Ability to multi-task working within a team structure and independently

  • Excellent organizational skills
