Electrician
About the Position
JLL is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician for 2nd shift at our client's automotive production facility. This position requires maintenance and troubleshooting expertise in an industrial setting.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
-
Install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and alter electrical services, equipment, and controls using approved materials and properly sized wire, conduit, raceways, and equipment
-
Perform work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
-
Apply NFPA 70E standards and wear appropriate Arc Flash PPE when working on equipment
-
Work with both high and low-voltage systems to troubleshoot and repair
-
Maintain work areas and equipment in safe, efficient, and clean operating condition
-
Strictly adhere to all safety rules and regulations
-
Report equipment needing repair or any unsafe conditions to supervisor
-
Efficiently operate hand/power tools, test instruments, and equipment required for the trade
-
Assist with other duties, including work of other trades as required
Required Qualifications
-
High school diploma or GED
-
State of Michigan or UAW Journeyman's Electrician License
-
Valid state driver's license in good standing
-
Minimum 2 years of trade experience
-
Ability to maintain professionalism under stressful situations
-
Self-directed with ability to work without direct supervision
-
Available for call-in work when required
-
Ability to perform physical activities including bending, standing, climbing, and walking
-
Ability to safely use manual tools and power equipment common in building maintenance
-
Understanding of and compliance with Proper Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements
Preferred Qualifications

CMMS and/or database experience
-
Superior customer service skills and professional orientation
-
Strong attention to detail
-
Excellent planning and organizational skills under time constraints
-
Collaborative work style
Location: Michigan
Salary: $39.92/hour plus shift differential
Schedule: 2nd Shift
Job Type: Full-Time
This position does not provide visa sponsorship. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
