QVIA US Med Tech Launch Advisory team. We are investing across the board to provide Concept to Market capabilities to our Med Tech clients, including Launch Advisory. IQVIA’s portfolio of offerings and deep subject matter expertise positions our organization as Healthcare’s Vital Partner. Within the US marketplace, IQVIA maintains relationships with all of the top 20 Med Tech clients, among many others.

We are seeking an Associate Principal (AP) to act as the first dedicated hire for the Med Tech US Launch Advisory team. In partnership with the Principal for Med Tech Strategy Consulting, this individual will lead consulting engagements, seek and close consulting opportunities, hire and oversee the managers/consultants responsible for executing the consulting engagements, manage client relationships, and collaborate with other relevant IQVIA teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first dedicated hire to create the US Med Tech Launch Advisory team including hiring/training team members, building consulting project approaches for Med Tech launch, and establishing client relationships.
  • Build collaborative approaches with existing IQVIA teams, including our robust biopharma/pharmaceutical launch advisory teams, Med Tech Strategy Consulting, and Med Tech Product Specialists that offer commercial solutions that can fit within a client launch.
  • Act as the primary owner of client engagements with responsibility for client satisfaction and delivering high levels of quality/added value with significant and tangible client impact.
  • Support the Principal of Med Tech Strategy Consulting to meet or exceed assigned revenue targets by developing and delivering insightful, value-added solutions that address Med Tech client’s key needs related to launch planning and launch execution.
  • Seek out and identify new revenue opportunities at existing and potential clients.
  • Contribute to the enhanced awareness of IQVIA Med Tech Consulting in the marketplace, e.g. through speaking engagements, client meetings, publications etc.
  • Proactively continue to strengthen subject matter expertise through on the job experience, participation in conferences and symposiums and other forums for professional knowledge sharing
  • Proactively mentor and share subject matter expertise with others to elevate our capabilities to deliver world class solutions for clients.

Requirements:

  • To be eligible for this position, you must reside in the same country where the job is located.
  • Bachelor's Degree required, Masters preferred.
  • 8 years of work experience in the Med Tech industry, ideally in **product launch, commercial strategy, launch consulting, **or sales management/operations.
  • Required to have deep expertise in designing, advising on, or overseeing the launch of at least one novel Med Tech asset with a proven track record of success.
  • In depth and long-standing relationships with client Med Tech companies.
  • Comfortable in an entrepreneurial and evolving environment
  • Possess exemplary business development skills.
  • Broad knowledge about the Med Tech industry.
  • Works willingly and effectively with others in and across the organization to accomplish team goals.
  • Knowledge of consulting methods, tools, and techniques related to launch.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking, planning and change management skills.
  • Values people’s opinions and encourages knowledge sharing.
  • High level of energy, drive, and enthusiasm with the ability to manage complex relationships and juggle priorities.
  • Excellent client relationship and influencing skills.
  • Excellent conversational and business English (written and oral).
  • Exceptional literacy in Microsoft Office e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
  • A willingness or ability to travel as needed (5-25% on average)

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $124,600.00 - $347,100.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
