In line with Company strategy and objectives, maximize growth and marketshare within a specified of one or more therapeutic disciplines and or specialty areas. Directs and executes marketing activities and involved in strategy, messaging and measurement.
Aligns with the organization to create strategic and tactical plans, positioning, value propositions, and messaging; prioritizes content and QC; manages and develops budgets; makes event selection/marketing mix decisions.
Essential Functions
- Drive growth and market share by create marketing material, initiate key message, product positioning, brand plan and marketing plan align with product trend and direction, engage with KOL of key therapeutic area to be advocator or speaker of product.
- Conduct marketing event such as symposium, speaker program, booth exhibition and also trainer of product knowledge for medical sales representative
- Demonstrate a good understanding of the product (s) clinical efficacy and clearly state the value-proposition offered, based on sound knowledge of specialty area or therapeutic discipline.
- Keep up to date with the latest trends and or issues within specialist or technical area of expertise, by attending conferences, reading key journals, etc. and begin to promote self, as a knowledgeable specialist, to internal and external audiences.
- Effectively utilize the designated software system(s) to maintain records update and produce reports.
- Comply with relevant country legislation and regulatory requirements.
- Advise Line Manager of changes in competitor activities and market changes and liaise with Line Manager to identify potential new opportunities.
- Act as product champion for at least 1 product and ensure transfer of specialist knowledge with internal colleagues as appropriate
- Project a professional impression of the Company and act in accordance with the relevant Pharmaceutical Industry’s Code of Practice
- Act as a mentor for new recruits, participate in new starter training programs and on occasion provide cover for the team in Line Manager’s absence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy highly desirable
- Experience in product management in a range of customer types and therapy areas is mandatory
- Equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Good understanding of Pharma Market and related procedures.
- Build network of relationships with health representatives in the requested specialty segment.
- Solid product knowledge.
- Fluency in software operating systems, such as MS Office and customer relationship management systems.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with decision makers/opinion leaders in the relevant market.
- Experience with ophthalmology or cardiometabolic (hypertension) therapy will be added advantage.
