About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Delivery & Proposal Manager to lead the development and coordination of complex pre‑ and post‑award proposals within our Contract & Proposal Development function. In this role, you will act as a subject matter expert (SME), partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure high-quality, competitive, and operationally sound proposal submissions across large and high‑value opportunities.
This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong analytical skills, deep understanding of RFP processes, and the ability to navigate and influence within a matrixed organization.

Key Responsibilities Proposal & Budget Management
-
Review and manage high‑complexity RFPs from initial request through work order completion.

Oversee day‑to‑day budget development activities for large, complex proposals.

Ensure proposals meet operational requirements and remain cost-competitive.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
-
Serve as the main point of contact for internal teams and stakeholders involved in proposal development.

Identify and resolve discrepancies in requirements; ensure alignment across teams.

Participate in strategy, challenge, and sign‑off discussions to shape proposal & budget direction.

Quality & Process Excellence
-
Conduct quality control reviews of relevant proposal materials; contribute to peer reviews.

Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Ensure compliance with internal proposal development processes and policies.

Leadership & Expertise
-
Act as an SME on relevant proposal processes, offering guidance and support to colleagues.

Build strong internal relationships and provide mentoring as needed.

Potentially act as Team Lead/Task Leader for selected projects.

Required Skills & Experience Education & Experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business Management, or related field.
-
Minimum 7 years of experience in proposals, contracting, or a similar operational function (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

3–5 years of relevant work experience in a similar role within a CRO or related industry.

Technical & Professional Skills
-
Strong understanding of the CRO industry and proposal lifecycle.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Strong analytical capabilities and ability to interpret RFPs and protocols.
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain effective working relationships.
