The Field Director – National Accounts is responsible for leading and managing the assigned National Account Managers (NAMs) on behalf of the Client and serving as the liaison between the company and the Client for Managed Markets and Reimbursement.
We are excited to announce that currently we are looking for a Field Directorto join our team of over 10,000 global field representatives in several regions making over 20 million product details annually for our pharmaceutical and biotech clients.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide direction and suggestions to the NAMs regarding Client expectations
- Participate as part of the RADS management team in client meetings, monitor client calls when necessary and participate as needed in new client presentations and discussions
- Ensure that the Project Leads & NAMs are presenting the clients product to their assigned accounts and obtaining the formulary status of the product as requested by the client.
- Analyze and prepare NAM and Client Lead performance evaluations
- Assist Client Leads in ensuring the company is meeting client’s expectations and goals
- Participating in team conference calls to provide support and recommendations
- Assist NAMs and Client Leads with communication and/or workload issues
- Represent Department head in company meetings as necessary
- Lead team calls as needed
- Assist in monitoring team workloads and provide recommendations to accommodate new business opportunities
- Assist with Business Development as needed, most often as a subject matter expert with potential prospects
- The role also has reasonability for working as a NAM on select project(s)
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Ability to communicate with both the Client and NAMs
- Ability to assist in the development of managed care strategies with the Client and managing Project Leads in account strategy development
- Ability to be flexible and multitask among the Client and NAMs demands
- Demonstrated ability to develop, communicate, and implement successful strategic initiatives
- Proven leadership skills and strong business acumen.
- Ability to identify and communicate any problems or issues to IQVIA Management and the Client
- Deep understanding and knowledge of the Managed Markets Market Place
- Strong computer skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Experience in launching new product(s)
- Experience leading teams
MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
10 + years’ experience in Managed Care/Market access in Healthcare/Pharmaceutical/Biotech; or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Extensive use of keyboard requires repetitive motion of fingers.
- Extensive use of telephone and face-to-face communication requiring accurate perception of speech.
- Regular sitting for extended periods of time.
- Will require travel to client meetings, account meetings and other client directed meetings

The potential base pay range for this role is $175,000-$220,000 annually. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
