Responsibilities include:

• Design and develop big data solutions using Spark, Scala, and related technologies.
• Implement ETL pipelines to ingest, transform, and process structured and unstructured data.
• Optimize data storage and retrieval strategies for performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with analysts and business stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions.
• Ensure data quality and governance across all big data platforms.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production data workflows and resolve issues proactively.
• Document processes, workflows, and best practices for knowledge sharing.

Successful candidates will have:

• Strong programming skills in Spark, Scala, Hive and Airflow.
• Hands-on experience with Big Data ecosystem.
• Expertise in Apache Spark for batch and real-time processing.
• Knowledge of streaming platforms like Kafka.
• Proficiency in SQL databases.
• Understanding of data warehousing and ETL concepts.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in agile teams.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in big data development or data engineering roles
