Job Title: Junior Business Analyst Contract role: 1 year contract Location: Bucharest, Romania
We are looking for a** (Junior) Business Analyst **to join our Consulting team in Bucharest.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Assist with the review and analysis of client requirements or problems and help develop client solutions under direct supervision.
- Develop detailed documentation and specifications.
- Design and structure presentations tailored to the audience's needs.
- Proactively develop a basic knowledge of consulting methodologies and the life sciences market through consulting engagements and learning opportunities.
- Prepare quantitative and qualitative analyses of the pharmaceutical sector.
- Create sections of reports, presentations, and other client deliverables.
- Partner with client stakeholders to identify their needs, find suitable analytical solutions, and provide strategic recommendations.
- Collaborate within an international team.
- Conduct independent desktop research using internal and external sources.
- Support senior team members in project delivery.
- Participate in client meetings.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree required/in progress** in** STEM, preferred but not required
- 1-3 years of related experience required preferred but not required
- Proficiency in Romanian and English required.
- Ability to analyze complex data, draw conclusions, and provide clear, concise recommendations.
- Good Analytical skills, comfortable working with numbers
- Strong motivation to thrive in a client-focused team environment.
- Good time management, and organizational skills.
- Problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work within timelines.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Good Microsoft Office skills: Excel, PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry is an advantage but not required.
- Experience in consulting preferred but not required.
- Experience with international projects is a plus.
Other Requirements:
- Works willingly and effectively with others across the organization to accomplish team goals.
- Understanding of the fundamental processes of business, their interaction, and the impact of external/internal influences on decision-making, growth, and decline.
- Knowledge of consulting methods, tools, and techniques related to one's functional area preferredbut not required.
- Effective time management skills.
- Can-do attitude, willingness to step out of the comfort zone, and learn quickly.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
