Role Purpose:
The role is part of a dedicated team of finance and patient activity experts supporting Consultant and Senior Consultants in designing, configuring and supporting of Patient Level Information Costing System(PLICS) and health pathway analytical software solutions using the company's own web-based applications along with third party proprietary Business Intelligence tools.
An ability to work to tight deadlines within a cross-functional team to achieve project delivery success is required, together with strong written and verbal communication skills. Candidates should be able to show an understanding of the Healthcare business relevance in the analyses as well as their correct and effective execution.
Principle Accountabilities:
Support the Senior Consultant in the design, development and delivery of PLICS and Pathways Analytics consulting projects or as components of larger, complex projects.
Participates in the active development of Software products.
Support the Consultant/Senior Consultant in reviewing and analyzes client requirements or problems and assists in the development of approaches and system configurations to provide cost effective solutions that ensure profitability and high client satisfaction.
Support the Consultant/Senior Consultant in conducting Financial and Costing Consultancy in the Healthcare sector
Thorough knowledge on the patient activity data flow process within a hospital.
Be able to performs qualitative and/or quantitative analyses to assist in the identification of client issues and the development of client specific solutions.
Support the Senior Consultant in recommending improvements and alternative solutions to resolve problems.
May identify new business opportunities of follow-on work and new leads at assigned client.
Provides follow-up with client after project deliverable has been completed to ensure client satisfaction.
Needs to have a good understanding of Financial and Management Accounting experience.
Needs to have a good understanding of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Understanding of how Costing fits into the Payer Provider portfolio.
Needs to have or develop good understanding of SQL.
Education, Experience, & Specialized Knowledge Required:
Essential:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accountancy with 1–3 years of finance experience.
Preferred: Costing experience is preferred and professional qualifications like CMA,ACA, ACCA and CIMA will be given preference.
