Job Description Key Responsibilities / Duties:

Evaluates and designs test automation to ensure software meets established quality standards.

Develops and writes testing scripts and plans to ensure software functions as expected.

Conducts automated testing of APIs and Data
-
Isolates, reproduces and tracks defects. Verifies fixes.

Documents testing plans, tests and defects, according to quality engineering standards

Communicate with internal and external customers, supervisors and management using clear, user-friendly terminology (emails, phone, meetings)

Review of QA deliverables
-
Publish QA test results and report
-
Participation in business recovery exercise as required
Work Experience / Knowledge:
-
4-6 years directly related work experience in automated testing or software development
-
1-3 years work experience using Python scripting for automated testing
-
1-3 years experience with AWS
-
1-3 years previous work experience in the Financial Services Industry would be preferred.
-
1-3 years previous work experience using Mule Soft to test APIs would be preferred
-
Ability to create and enhance automation test frameworks/environments
-
Experienced with agile software development/delivery methods (e.g. Scrum, Kanban)
-
Experience with onshore/offshore team model, highly desired
Formal Education: (minimum requirement to perform job duties)
A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Technology or equivalent highly desired

Normally works a regular schedule of hours, however hours may vary depending upon the project or assignment

Hours may include evenings and/or weekends and may include 24 hours a day on call support by email and/or cell phone
