Job Description Your Team Involves in development of solutions in new and existing applications. Includes maintenance and support of applications. Reviews system requirements and business processes; codes, tests, debugs and implements software solutions.

Your Role Designs and develops software systems and applications primarily on Python, Power BI and .NET Core technologies and related integrations with peripheral applications using Fast APIs. Codes, tests, debugging the development tasks assigned. Collaborates with architects, product managers and end-users in the development and enhancement of applications.

You Will Be Responsible For:

• Provide technology support, implementation and ongoing use of applications built on

Python, Snowflake .NET Core**, and **React JS technologies.

• Ability to understand requirements to help build analytics / metrics using Power BI

• Provide technology support to implementations and ongoing use of FastAPI or Flask APIs which are used in Integrations with other applications

• Complete all tasks related to technical analysis, building and unit testing, quality assurance, system test and implementation in accordance with Invesco’s Enterprise Architecture standards

• Work closely with business analysts, project managers, architects and other developers to design and implement solutions

• Understand Investment Services business and make recommendations and technology suggestions to advance solutions provided to the relevant business domain(s)

• Understand architecture of applications in order to effectively troubleshoot problems and develop more efficient production processes.

• Prepare for and support user acceptance testing.

• Perform quality assurance tests on the work of other developers.

• Prepare all necessary documentation and processes to enable ongoing support of the systems.

• Communicate with internal and external customers, supervisors and management using clear, user-friendly terminology (emails, chat, phone, meetings).

• Assist project and line managers in producing estimates for the development phase of projects and enhancements.

The Experience You Bring:

• Minimum of 3 years of overall experience in systems development in Python, React JS and .NET Core

• Understanding of relational database design and development life cycle principles

• Good experience of working in project teams and with third party vendors

• Desire to stay abreast of new development tools and methods

• Experience working in an agile scrum development environment

• Familiarity in developing and integrating API’s and web services

• Familiarity with business intelligence reporting tools preferred (PowerBI, Tableau)

• Familiarity with DevOps principals preferred

• Familiarity with AWS Cloud technologies preferred

• Familiarity with Snowflake preferred
