Primary Function of Position The Sr. Contracts Manager – Corporate Services plays a critical part managing and negotiating a broad range of complex purchasing agreements that support the facilities, real estate and construction, human resources, and sales and marketing operations. The Sr. Contracts Manager – Corporate Services will negotiate contractual terms and conditions with suppliers/vendors to ensure compliance in the procurement of products and services for Intuitive. Essential Job Duties - Build strong relationships with key partners at different levels of the organization including legal, operations, and logistics. - Consult with Legal on key points of law and commercial best practice, interpreting complex terms and conditions, including IP related terms and incorporate their guidance into contract terms. - Responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts that establish business relationships with suppliers. - Analyze contracts to ensure compliance to company policy, government regulations, applicable laws, and other requirements. - Analyze, interpret, and respond to terms presented in contracts. - Negotiate contract terms and conditions with supplier. ## Qualifications Required Skills and Experience - Experience in negotiating key contractual terms and conditions - Knowledge of contract management best practices and commercial contract law - Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on contract terms, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance - Develop and continuously improve contract templates, playbooks, and negotiation guidelines. - Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and create and reset priorities as needed - Effective time management skills; able to prioritize multiple tasks - Demonstrates a positive and flexible attitude - Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to influence and persuade others - Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and ability to work extended hours as needed Required Education and Training - Related Bachelor’s Degree required - CPCM or J.D. required - Minimum 10+ years prior experience with complex contract negotiation - Minimum of 5+ years of relevant contract negotiation experience focused on construction contracts. Working Condition - Capacity to maintain seated for extended periods.
