Primary Function of Position The Sr. Contracts Manager – Corporate Services plays a critical part managing and negotiating a broad range of complex purchasing agreements that support the facilities, real estate and construction, human resources, and sales and marketing operations. The Sr. Contracts Manager – Corporate Services will negotiate contractual terms and conditions with suppliers/vendors to ensure compliance in the procurement of products and services for Intuitive. Essential Job Duties - Build strong relationships with key partners at different levels of the organization including legal, operations, and logistics. - Consult with Legal on key points of law and commercial best practice, interpreting complex terms and conditions, including IP related terms and incorporate their guidance into contract terms. - Responsible for drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts that establish business relationships with suppliers. - Analyze contracts to ensure compliance to company policy, government regulations, applicable laws, and other requirements. - Analyze, interpret, and respond to terms presented in contracts. - Negotiate contract terms and conditions with supplier. ## Qualifications Required Skills and Experience - Experience in negotiating key contractual terms and conditions - Knowledge of contract management best practices and commercial contract law - Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on contract terms, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance - Develop and continuously improve contract templates, playbooks, and negotiation guidelines. - Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and create and reset priorities as needed - Effective time management skills; able to prioritize multiple tasks - Demonstrates a positive and flexible attitude - Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to influence and persuade others - Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and ability to work extended hours as needed Required Education and Training - Related Bachelor’s Degree required - CPCM or J.D. required - Minimum 10+ years prior experience with complex contract negotiation - Minimum of 5+ years of relevant contract negotiation experience focused on construction contracts. Working Condition - Capacity to maintain seated for extended periods. We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, benefits, and equity. It would not be typical for someone to be hired at the top end of range for the role, as actual pay will be determined based on several factors, including experience, skills, and qualifications.
