Come join Intuit as a Senior Product Designer to help shape the future of the Quick Books Mobile app, enabling mobile-first small business owners to manage their operations and finances with powerful AI-driven tools. As part of the mobile team, you'll deliver highquality, end-to-end experiences and contribute meaningfully to a mobile-native design system that supports innovation, usability, and global scalability.
You'll be a key contributor—working independently, collaborating cross-functionally, and influencing product direction by grounding your designs in customer insight, data, and mobile best practices.
Responsibilities
- Use mobile-first thinking strategic thinking and deep platform knowledge to solve complex user problems through clean, responsive, and emotionally resonant design
- Lead key design initiatives from concept to delivery, crafting wireframes, visual designs, prototypes, and interaction models informed by customer insights and platform capabilities.
- Turn visions into concepts and translate those concepts into designs that illustrate simplicity, despite complexity of the system and communicate effectively and compellingly for internal leaders, partners, and customers.
- Directly responsible for conducting customer research, Ground your decisions in research, behavioral data, and competitor insights; collaborate closely with PMs, engineers, marketing, and data scientists
- Translate strategic goals into measurable design outcomes, advocating for accessibility, data personalization, and inclusive experiences
- Contribute to and mentor others in design critiques, offering actionable, thoughtful feedback across interaction, visual, and motion design while utilizing facilitative leadership skills to drive to the best outcome for stakeholders, resulting in others learning from you, and inspiring others to want to work with you
Qualifications
- 5+ years of interface design experience in delivering high-volume, high-profile, or award-winning mobile products or experiences
- Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction Design, or other relevant fields; Masters preferred, or equivalent work experience
- Deep understanding of native mobile interaction patterns, accessibility standards, and platform-specific HIG/Material Design guidelines
- Demonstrated ability to deliver elegant, data-informed mobile experiences that balance user needs and business goals
- Deep knowledge of user experience methods, innovation, ideation, storytelling, prototyping, design frameworks, concept visualization, problem-framing skills and design principles
- Strong end-to-end thinking: from onboarding flows to edge states, you consider every touchpoint in the customer journey connecting the dots between big picture goals to sweating the nuanced details of discrete elements.
- Experience delivering product experiences from product strategy to detailed execution via layout, typography, iconography, color theory, and composition.
- You keep pace with mobile trends, industry standards, and emerging tools like GenAI to elevate design craft and speed
- Experience partnering with engineers and data teams to create technically feasible, performance-aware mobile solutions
- Exemplary ability to build positive, collaborative relationships across teams/groups/functions through facilitative leadership to deliver great results and to 'raise the bar' continually as an effective leader of positive change
- Organized, self-directed, efficient and able to manage multiple projects in a timely manner
