The International Product Organization, part of the GBSG, is on a mission to shape, streamline and scale Intuit's platform globally by transforming market complexity into locally-relevant integrated solutions for small and mid-market businesses.
The company is seeking a dynamic leader, based out of Mountain View, who reports to the VP of Product for International, to act as the strategic nucleus of the International Product organization. This role will play a critical role in executing our strategic mandate by focusing on three core pillars:
- Shape the Future of the Platform: Transform our offering from an accounting software into an All-in-One global business platform, establishing International as an Innovation Engine for Intuit.
- Streamline Platform-Market Velocity: Establish a unified, platform-first architecture, ensuring our solutions are intrinsically 'Global by Design.'
- Scale our Ecosystem for Accretive Growth: Establish a high-leverage, market-winning operating model for sustained customer and revenue expansion.'
As the leader responsible for the AI Platform & Ecosystem for International, this exceptional product leader will execute the mandate to transform the unit economics of internationalization by defining and executing a rigorous Platform First strategy and leveraging AI (specifically LLMs and Agentic AI) to leapfrog our international expansion ambitions and accelerate our innovation lifecycles.
This Global Director will work closely with the VP of Product, International, and regional product leaders across EMEA, Canada & LATAM and APAC to define, build, and scale the core AI-driven platform and ecosystem necessary to secure a durable competitive advantage and accelerate the GBSG's global growth strategy, ultimately holding final product authority over the End-to-End International Product Roadmap and driving the adoption of platform functionality across all international markets.
Responsibilities
Core Role Accountabilities:
- Platform Strategy and Execution: Define and deliver the Global-by-Design platform strategy that enables the AI-driven ecosystem, ensuring components accelerate revenue and profitability, and deliver daily value for international customers.
- Direct Team Leadership: Build and lead the Global Platform & Ecosystem team for International, ensuring the operating model, structure, and talent deliver cutting-edge technology and innovation to secure a durable competitive advantage across International markets.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Act as the single-threaded product owner for the End-to-End International Product Roadmap, driving alignment and securing resource commitments across the International Product Organization, Regional Leadership, and cross-functional product teams.
Qualifications Domain
- The ideal candidate has 15+ years of relevant product and or product strategy experience.
- Prior experience leading global/international platform expansion strategy, focused on building core services and infrastructure for multiple non-native markets.
- Experience building for SMB and mid-market customers at a company with an ecosystem of products and services.
- Proven experience in harmonizing product strategies across diverse offerings (e.g., finance, marketing, payments) to build a unified customer ecosystem.
- Demonstrated expertise in building and scaling AI/ML-driven platform products (e.g., recommendation engines, LLM-based agents, predictive compliance models) in a multi-region environment.
- Proven track record of successfully championing trajectory-changing business shifts for organizations, including commercial and product innovation that translates to revenue and customer growth.
- Known for driving durable revenue growth that balances short and long-term investments.
- Experience in building and executing a clear, crisp, durable 3-year Global Platform strategy.

How you will lead
This leader will drive our platform and AI strategy across the globe, ensuring our core services enable rapid and profitable market entry and penetration. The leader will have a proven track record of raising the bar of craft and execution, delivering winning results, leading with a clear vision, and a mindset that views the platform experience as Intuit’s most important strategic product. The successful candidate will define and articulate the international product strategy, roadmap, and capabilities aligned with our overall Intuit vision and strategy, including the following:
- End to End International Product Roadmap: Responsible for development and final approval of the product/platform component backlog and the delivery schedule for all integrated solutions for International.
- AI Strategy and Product Development for International: Acts as the single-threaded owner for AI Internationalization development and prototyping, focusing on transforming the unit economics of international expansion.
- E2E Integration Architecture: Responsible for influencing decisions on the platform components, data models, and APIs used to connect the GBSG ecosystem internationally, including build vs. partner decisions for new platform services.
- International Market Requirements: Partner with regional product leaders to define guiding principles for global prioritization and SLAs for component delivery and ensure adherence to Global by Design standards.
