As Principal Product Manager for Mailchimp AI, you’ll define the vision and strategy for AI capabilities across our product suite, ensuring we deliver consistent, high-performing AI experiences to customers while enabling internal teams to build on a shared AI platform. By delivering AI-first capabilities, you’ll empower customers to operate more efficiently and improve their ROI.
Responsibilities
Develop and own both high-level roadmap and detailed delivery plans for AI capabilities across the entire Mailchimp suite
Work closely with other product groups that are building AI capabilities to ensure end-to-end consistency, and inclusion within the roadmap
Lead cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that sets the new standard for what an AI marketing platform looks like
Interact with Mailchimp customers across various industries to understand pain points, collect requirements, and seek a deep understanding of their unique marketing needs
Use a data/metrics-driven product development approach; define success criteria for roadmap items and demonstrate measurable impact on key performance indicators relevant to service-based businesses
Help educate other product groups on best practices of creating AI-first capabilities
Manage prioritization of strategic features and use cases, ensuring the right capabilities are being delivered to customers, end-to-end
Influence key organization stakeholders and lead change in product strategy, design approaches, and AI adoption across Mailchimp
Mentor and coach aspiring product managers, accelerating AI capabilities, and fostering a culture of innovation
Qualifications
10 - 12 years of Product Management experience, with a focus on B2B SaaS and AI capabilities with a focus on marketing
Deep understanding of the AI landscape, including a strong understanding of various sectors such as eCommerce, financial, consulting, and creative services
Strong background in metrics, analytics, and models related to marketing activities
Experience in productizing services or developing tools that enhance marketing for eCommerce or professional services delivery
Technical proficiency and experience with AI/ML technologies and their application in marketing contexts
Experience with A/B testing and data-driven decision making in the context of marketing for service-based businesses
Outstanding written and oral communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with designers, engineers, and stakeholders across various organizational levels
Passion for creating innovative solutions that solve real challenges faced by small business owners
Excellent organizational, teamwork, and execution skills with the ability to drive work to completion in a fast-paced environment
Bachelor's degree or equivalent; MBA or background in marketing is a plus

Bay Area, California: $236,000 - 319,000
New York City, New York: $232,500 - 314,500
