Within the Quick Books team, the Workforce Solutions team offers industry-leading payroll in addition to HR solutions, team management, and benefits to help small businesses pay and take care of their teams.

The Quick Books U.S. Marketing team is seeking a seasoned product marketer with strong strategic and storytelling skills, who operates with a bias for action to create customer benefit and drive business results. As a Team Lead/M2 Product Marketing Manager on the team, you will lead a team of product marketers to develop and activate go-to-market plans for the Workforce portfolio. This is a unique opportunity for a highly motivated marketing leader to own a business end-to-end and accelerate Quick Books’ growth trajectory in the Human Capital Management (HCM) space, at a pivotal time for the business. The ideal candidate will have prior experience defining and operationalizing product marketing strategy for B2B business management solutions, preferably Payroll or HCM products, driving new acquisition marketing motions and a demonstrated revenue impact. You’ll be challenged to think boldly, move fast, and have a big impact on our customers’ lives, their livelihoods, and the Workforce Solutions business trajectory.

Responsibilities

The Team Lead, Workforce Solutions is responsible for developing and activating go-to-market plans for the Workforce Solutions portfolio of Quick Books products.

Primary responsibilities include

  • Owns 1-year business outcomes for our Workforce Solutions portfolio, including strategic choices about where to play and how to win, and effectively communicate data-backed business plans and performance data across teams and up to executive leadership through ongoing forecasting, reporting and root cause analyses

  • Leverage deep customer insights, product expertise, and competitive intelligence to inform a segmentation strategy, develop winning product positioning including differentiated, insights-based messaging and claims, and influence the product roadmap to drive growth

  • Develop research and testing plans and actively analyze business data from multiple sources to generate insights, make informed decisions, and turn these insights into rigorous business cases, compelling end-to-end customer experiences, and GTM strategy

  • Leverage storytelling, customer insights, data and business acumen to lead initiatives and influence the roadmap at any phase of the product life cycle (from idea to maturity) and execute an impactful GTM plan that prioritizes business results with product and channel partners

  • Develop go-to-market plans, segmentation, and marketing activations in close partnership with external partners and our business development team to deliver year-on-year growth for Workforce Solutions Portfolio

  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams spanning marketing, product, design, business development, analytics, finance, legal, strategy, sales, and customer success to drive GTM strategy, initiatives, and reporting

  • Own the forecasting process and performance management process for multiple products within Workforce Solutions and manage stakeholders to align goals and outcomes

  • Contribute to 3-year strategic planning and make decisions that benefit the customer and the entire Intuit portfolio, not just the offering.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • 8 + years of experience in product marketing, or strategic roles within high-growth environments, with experience driving cross-functional execution

  • People Management: Experience leading and cultivating high performance teams

  • Leadership: Proven ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams, build trust, and deliver outcomes in a matrixed organization

  • Executional excellence: Strong capability to translate strategic plans into actionable tasks, ensuring project completion and alignment with business goals

  • Analytical and problem solving orientation: comfort with different testing methodologies and synthesizing inputs from multiple data sources to analyze ROI, develop big insights, and make recommendations that unlock growth opportunities

  • Understands and utilizes core marketing frameworks to develop segmentation, targeting, and positioning, and translate strategy into product roadmaps and actionable, cross-functional go-to-market plans

  • Ability to prioritize and make strategic choices, specifically narrowing from a range of opportunities to highest-impact levers, balancing short and long term business outcomes

  • Demonstrated high levels of ownership, responsibility, initiative and the desire to drive significant, measurable performance results

  • Strong track record of leadership, storytelling, and influencing in a cross-functional, fast-moving environment

  • Subject matter expertise: Experience in the human capital space and/or understanding of this market preferred

  • Excellent verbal, written/presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.

  • BA/BS required, MBA preferred.

  • Experience with small- and mid-sized business a plus

Pay offered is based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and work location. To drive ongoing fair pay for employees, Intuit conducts regular comparisons across categories of ethnicity and gender. The expected base pay range for this position is:

Bay Area California $ 171,500- 231,500

Southern California $ 159,000- 215,500
