As we transform and expand our global manufacturing footprint, we are committed to protecting the health and safety of our people and our operations.We are seeking a passionate Industrial Hygiene Engineer with Construction Safety experience to join our dynamic Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) team. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving Industrial Hygiene (IH) and Safety programs that support both factory operations and construction/uprising projects.
You will play a key role in protecting worker health, preventing injuries, ensuring compliance, and driving Intel's world-class EHS culture.
Responsibilities:

Lead and manage assigned Industrial Hygiene and Safety programs (e.g., hearing conservation, ventilation, radiation safety, electrical safety, working at height, LOTO).

Conduct IH/Safety risk assessments and exposure monitoring for chemical, physical, and environmental hazards.

Perform IH surveys and Safety reviews for Equipment Sign Off (ESO) to support safe tool installation.

Support construction and uprising projects by identifying safety risks and ensuring contractor compliance.

Managing and interfacing with General Contractors regarding safety performance.
-
Participate in incident/accident investigations and help identify root causes and corrective actions.
-
Conduct EHS audits to ensure compliance with regulations and Intel standards, including ISO 45001.

Analyze EHS data, identify trends, and recommend improvement actions.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications (Must Have Skills):

Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Safety, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field.

Foundational knowledge of occupational health, industrial hygiene principles, and safety engineering.

Strong problemsolving skills and ability to learn quickly in a fastpaced environment.

Good English communication.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
-
Relevant Work Experience: Approximately 3 years in the field is advantageous.
-
Technical and Scientific Competence: High proficiency in recognizing, evaluating, controlling, and preventing occupational and environmental hazards.

Experience supporting construction or facility projects is an advantage.

Effective Communication: Strong oral and written skills to interact with customers on industrial hygiene and safety matters.

Team Collaboration: Ability to work effectively in a team with minimal supervision.
-
Efficiency and Problem-Solving: Demonstrates efficient work methods, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Certifications or training such as CIH, CSP, NEBOSH, Radiation Safety, Noise Monitoring, or Construction Safety are a plus.

Presentation Skills: Excellent ability to present and explain Industrial Hygiene data to both technical and non-technical audiences.
