Manufacturing Product Quality -MPQ- team sits at the cross-section of manufacturing, design, and quality at Intel. Our function is to trail-blaze our new products design and make sure all of our products meet Intel s’ outgoing quality goals to our customers. The Costa Rica Validation Lab Engineering CRVLE is a group within MPQ that enables laboratory capacity for several engineering groups in Costa Rica, optimizing Intel CR productivity by leveraging collocation and working as One Intel.

As a Capacity Planner, the primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsible E2E Lab capacity modeling and analysis for entire fleet: get inputs, run capacity models analysis, optimization for stakeholders’ statement on Strategic and Mid-Range horizons.
  • Function includes continues improvement, capacity maximization and cost avoidance monitoring and analyzing critical indicators to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Enabling a cross-collaboration environment. Provide support to one or more vertical teams across MPQ network.

Qualifications:

A successful candidate will have proven experience demonstrating the following skills and behavioral traits:

  • Customer-focused and adaptable to changing business needs; trusted partner across teams and sites.
  • Strong communicator and stakeholder manager; negotiates, resolves conflict, and drives best-for-business outcomes.
  • Clear, proactive, and self-driven; synthesizes complex information, runs effective meetings, and applies LEAN and continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated discipline, attentiveness to detail and the ability to work under limited supervision is required
  • Must be capable of handling multiple assignments in a timely manner while meeting assigned deadlines
  • Must have strong communication skills
  • Previous experience of Capacity Planning roles or similar.
  • Strong ability to work efficiently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong data analysis capacity analysis skills.

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position.

  • Bachelor’s or Licentiate degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field case-by-case consideration for other disciplines.
  • 5+ years of experience in volume production capacity management, or similar roles involving capacity and demand analysis, capacity planning, master scheduling, or related areas.
  • Advanced English proficiency professional level.
  • Advanced MS Office skills Macros, algorithms and or mathematical functions; Pivot and Dynamic tables programing and Power BI.
  • Must have unrestricted - permanent right to work in Costa Rica.
