SAP MM Consultant

• A Day in the Life of an Infoscion

• Analyze client business requirements and translate them into effective SAP MM solutions.

• Design, configure, test, and deploy SAP MM functionalities in line with business needs.

• Lead and support SAP MM implementations, rollouts, upgrades, and support projects.

• Conduct workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, solution demonstrations, and conference room pilots.

• Prepare functional specifications and collaborate with technical teams to deliver developments and enhancements.

• Identify process gaps and recommend business process improvements and system optimizations.

• Develop effort estimates, project documentation, and implementation plans.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules.

• Support client stakeholders during testing, go-live, and hypercare phases.

• Contribute to organizational initiatives, knowledge management, and continuous improvement activities.

• 5+ years of experience in SAP MM with strong functional consulting expertise.

• Hands-on experience in SAP MM configuration, including Purchasing, Pricing, Account Determination, Inventory Management, LIV, and Physical Inventory.

• Strong knowledge of Material Master, Vendor Master, and Organizational Structure configuration.

• Experience in PR/PO processes and Release Strategy configuration.

• Minimum one end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation project experience.

• Ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications and drive solutions from blueprint to go-live.

• Expertise in Special Procurement Processes, including Subcontracting, STO, and Consignment.

• Strong integration knowledge with SAP SD and SAP FI modules and experience with SAP/Non-SAP interfaces.

• Ability to identify and implement business process improvements and system enhancements.

• Excellent analytical, stakeholder management, client-facing, communication, and project leadership skills.

• Ability to develop value-creating strategies and models that enable clients to innovate, drive growth and increase their business profitability

• Good knowledge on software configuration management systems

• Awareness of latest technologies and Industry trends

• Logical thinking and problem-solving skills along with an ability to collaborate

• Understanding of the financial processes for various types of projects and the various pricing models available

• Ability to assess the current processes, identify improvement areas and suggest the technology solutions

• One or two industry domain knowledge
