Devops Engineer

• A day in the life of an Infoscion

• As part of the Infosys consulting team, your primary role would be to get to the heart of customer issues, diagnose problem areas, design innovative solutions and facilitate deployment resulting in client delight.

• You will develop a proposal by owning parts of the proposal document and by giving inputs in solution design based on areas of expertise.

• You will plan the activities of configuration, configure the product as per the design, conduct conference room pilots and will assist in resolving any queries related to requirements and solution design

• You will conduct solution/product demonstrations, POC/Proof of Technology workshops and prepare effort estimates which suit the customer budgetary requirements and are in line with organization’s financial guidelines

• Actively lead small projects and contribute to unit-level and organizational initiatives with an objective of providing high quality value adding solutions to customers.

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

• At least 2-3 years of hands-on experience with Kubernetes cluster management in production environments

• At least 1-2 years of experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, ELK/Open Search stack)

• Experience with AWS cloud services and container orchestration

• Passion for DevOps/SRE engineering for live, production systems

• Great teamwork and cross-functional collaboration skills

• Good written and verbal English communication skills

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision when required

• Comfortable with Agile methodologies and working within small teams

• Understanding of delivering always-on customer-focused applications (i.e., online 24x7x365)

• Strong proficiency in Kubernetes administration, including deployment, scaling, troubleshooting, and security best practices

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, specifically Argo CD and Helm chart deployments

• Experience with vulnerability scanning and patching for Docker containers and Linux systems

• Knowledge of monitoring and observability solutions including Open Search/ELK stack, Splunk, Prometheus, and Grafana

• Proficient in AWS cloud services and infrastructure deployment using Terraform

• Knowledge of Kafka messaging systems for log streaming and data pipelines

• Comfortable working in Unix/Linux operating systems with strong command-line expertise

• Solid understanding of container-based development, Docker, and container orchestration

• Configuration management experience with tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or similar IaC tools

• Experience creating dashboards, alerts, and SLO/SLI metrics for application observability
