Abinitio Admin

We are seeking a motivated Ab Initio Administrator with 2–5 years of experience in administering and supporting Ab Initio environments, along with working knowledge of Ab Initio development. The ideal candidate should have experience in platform administration, application deployment, environment management, troubleshooting, and support of ETL processes. Exposure to Ab Initio development concepts will be an added advantage.

Ab Initio Administration:

Install, configure, and maintain Ab Initio software components across development, testing, and production environments.
Manage and administer:

Co Operating System (Co Op)
Enterprise Meta Environment (EME)
Conduct It
GDE (Graphical Development Environment)
Continuous Flows

Monitor platform health, application performance, and system availability.
Perform environment setup, upgrades, patching, and system maintenance activities.
Manage user access, permissions, and security configurations.

Understand and support Ab Initio graphs, plans, and ETL workflows.
Assist developers in job deployment, scheduling, and troubleshooting.
Perform basic graph modifications and debugging when required.
Analyze ETL performance and suggest optimization opportunities.
Work with metadata, datasets, and file processing components.

2–5 years of experience in Ab Initio Administration.
Good understanding of Ab Initio architecture and components:

Knowledge of Ab Initio development concepts and ETL lifecycle.
Experience in Linux/Unix administration.
Strong Shell Scripting skills.
Basic to intermediate SQL knowledge.
Experience in job monitoring, deployment, and production support.
Knowledge of troubleshooting Ab Initio environment and application issues.

Exposure to Ab Initio graph development and debugging.
Experience with Autosys, Control-M, or other scheduling tools.
Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps processes.
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and ETL methodologies.
