Senior Staff Engineer - Applications

Experience in selection of MOSFET’s, Gate Drivers, Capacitors, Inductors and use of these components in POL design and applications.

Your Role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• 6-12 years of hands-on experience in high frequency, high current, high-density DC/DC designs.
• Specific or Entrepreneurial Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of basic power supply topologies Buck, Boost, Buck-Boost and control system design with lab skills to test and debug of switch mode power supplies
• Experience in selection of MOSFET’s, Gate Drivers, Capacitors, Inductors and use of these components in POL design and applications.
• Able to collaborate with all functions in the organization from Marketing, FAE’s and sales, to IC design and product development AE’s to ensure successful product development.
• IC block level modelling experience with Simplis/PSpice
• Intimate knowledge of various regulator architectures.
• Experience in using digital controllers & power stages for power management applications
