Your role

As an Power Electronic Product Development Engineer you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing power semiconductor modules and semiconductor technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance.

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Develop power semiconductor modules and semiconductor technologies in cross-site interdisciplinary teams

• Plan and carry out the electrical and thermal characterization of the semiconductor devices and modules

• Evaluate and analyze data, as well as present the results as a basis for decision-making on technical topics

• Trigger and track the creation, commissioning, and testing of prototypes up to the start of series production

• Create, review, and approve data sheets and test specifications

• Prepare technical reports

• Support in change management

Your profile

You are a motivated and solution-oriented individual with a strong passion for innovation and teamwork. You have a collaborative mindset and are able to work effectively with others to achieve common goals. You are also a creative problem-solver with a strong analytical mindset and a keen eye for detail. You are able to communicate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner and are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed

• A university degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field

• Experience in electronics product development and electrical engineering

• A sound knowledge of power electronics / semiconductor components IGBT, MOSFET and diodes

• Experience in the field of electrical and thermal measurement technology, as well as statistical test planning

• Familiarity with software for scientific data evaluation

• Strong English language skills with German language skills being an advantage
