The Role of QHSE Manager

As QHSE Manager, you will be responsible for QHSE strategy, compliance, and continuous improvement. You will work closely with senior leadership, production, and engineering teams to ensure quality compliance, enhance workplace safety, and strengthen our sustainability efforts.

In this role, you will also have the responsibility of one QHSE Coordinator, ensuring the employee’s professional development, and ensure alignment with QHSE goals and contribute effectively to the company’s initiatives. You will be part of the management team, contributing to the growth and development of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead & maintain ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 certified management system.
  • Drive safety culture by implementing risk assessments and workplace safety programs.
  • Ensure environmental compliance, waste management, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Responsible for managing and maintaining our industry specific accreditations and certification, including the full coordination of internal tasks to meet the demands.
  • Manage audits & reporting, ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Improve performance and reporting.
  • Provide training to enhance QHSE awareness across the organization.

What We are looking for:

Ideally you will have experience working with cementitious materials, or in a cement supply setting, furthermore we expect.

  • Experience: 5 years in QHSE management within manufacturing, construction, or industrial environments.
  • Education: Degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, chemistry or similar is preferred.
  • Certifications: Strong knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001; auditor certification is a plus.
  • Communicating proficiently in English at a comprehensive level, German is an advantage.
  • Communication & Leadership: Ability to collaborate, train employees, and drive engagement.
  • Proactive & Independent Mindset: A self-driven leader who takes initiative and manages multiple projects.
