Job Description:

The inside sales role is suitable for self-motivated and goal oriented individuals that will be responsible for handling inbound leads and performing outbound calls, generating new business and maintaining relationships with existing customers. As a Customer Service Representative, the individual will be the frontline of the company addressing inquiries and maintain customer satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Following up on leads to nurture prospects through sales pipeline
  • Outbound calls and responding to inbound inquires
  • Ensuring proper follow through on company policies and processes
  • Assist manager developing inside sales strategies and ensure achievement of sales targets.
  • Ensure effective pipeline management filling it with good quality leads and opportunities.
  • Foster and maintain customer relationship to ensure high-level satisfaction and identify cross-selling opportunities.
  • Provide technical information for all products to customers.
  • Maintain knowledge of all products, part numbers and pricing.
  • Review / escalate customer comments, concerns, and problems and distribute to appropriate department.
  • Order and transaction management will be required.
  • Documentation and record-keeping
  • Assist the sales force with customer order management as necessary.

EDUCATION and/or EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE

Four-year or two-year college degree or equivalent experience in the customer service or sales field.

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

Strong organization & time management skills to handle inquiries and prioritize tasks

Strong attention to detail.

Excellent attendance and work record a must.

Negotiation and closing abilities

PROBLEM SOLVING

Ability to listen to customer concerns and summarize the issue at hand.

Address the issue to the appropriate manager for resolution to customer issue.

Follow-up with customer as needed.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

Ability to communicate with tack and diplomacy.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Requires telephone experience and proper telephone etiquette.

Requires knowledge of proper email etiquette.

Bilingual: English and Spanish

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Basic math requirements will meet the needs of this position.

REASONING ABILITIES

Must be able to determine when to involve other team members to resolve issues.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

General office environment.  Must be able to sit for long periods.

RESPONSIBILITY FOR EQUIPMENT/PROCESS/PRODUCT/ETC.

Must be able to use effectively computer equipment and software.

Must be able to communicate via a telephone.
