Job Description:

Key Responsibilities-
Assemble mechanical parts, components, and subassemblies according to established procedures, work instructions, engineering drawings, and quality standards.

• Operate hand tools, small power tools, fixtures, and other specialized equipment safely and effectively.

• Perform mechanical rework, adjustments, or repairs on units that do not meet specifications.

• Inspect assemblies for proper alignment, fit, and functionality; identify and report any deviations or defects.

• Follow detailed written and verbal instructions to ensure accurate and consistent assembly processes.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area to support safety and efficiency.

• Complete required production and quality documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

• Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and team members to resolve assembly issues and implement process improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of mechanical assembly experience, or equivalent technical training.

• Strong proficiency with hand tools, small power tools, and mechanical equipment.

• Ability to read and interpret detailed instructions, engineering drawings, and diagrams.

• Solid understanding of mechanical components, fasteners, and assembly techniques.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to rework or troubleshoot assemblies when required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods while performing assembly tasks.

• Ability to lift, carry, or move components and tools typically up to 25–40 lbs.

• Manual dexterity and hand–eye coordination for detailed, repetitive tasks.

Work Environment

• Production or manufacturing environment with exposure to tools, equipment, and moderate noise levels.

• Use of appropriate PPE required.

Compensation Information:

$20.50/hr
