Job Description:

The Quality Manager is a key leader within the organization, responsible for managing a robust Quality Management System (QMS) that ensures product conformity, regulatory compliance, and customer satisfaction.

This role provides strategic and operational leadership for quality systems, audits, continuous improvement, and capability development. The Quality Manager will supervise a team of Quality Inspectors and will partner closely with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain to ensure a proactive, prevention‑focused Quality culture.

Primary Responsibilities:

Manage ITW ECS’s Quality System

  • Manage ITW’s Quality system, procedures, and controls to achieve superior results.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with ISO standards, customer requirements, and regulatory permits; maintain audit‑ready systems at all times.
  • Ensure manufactured and distributed products meet customer and ITW quality standards.
  • Direct the activities of a team of Quality Inspectors
  • Setup and maintain in-line and off-line quality assurance activities
  • Collaborate with production personnel to solve quality related issues
  • Maintain quality metrics
  • Manage the quality lab and its equipment
  • Support ITW operational and financial objectives
  • Establish and maintain communication with ITW offshore colleagues

Continuous Improvement

  • Manage the ISO Quality system
  • Lead internal and external audits; ensure successful outcomes and timely closure of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Launch and lead cross‑functional improvement projects with measurable impact on product and processes
  • Support a culture of never-ending quality improvement
  • Utilize quality metrics to identify gaps and solutions toward improvement
  • Interface with customer service and customers directly as required to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction with ITW products and service
  • Work with all ITW functional areas to improve customer satisfaction
  • Work with sales and product managers on new product development
  • Seek opportunities to grow the business
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Required Skills and Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, Operations, Business, or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive Quality or Operations experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • ISO 9001 and IATF experience
  • Experience with manufacturing Quality systems, audits, and regulatory compliance
  • Strong data‑driven decision‑making capability, including use of KPIs, trend analysis, and risk‑based thinking
  • Learning‑oriented mindset with demonstrated commitment to continuous improvement and professional development
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Power Point) and Outlook.
  • Strong written, verbal and collaborative communication skill
  • Use calipers and other measuring equipment as necessary
  • Ability to read and follow procedures and instructions
  • Able to adapt effectively to changes in the work environment in a positive manner; able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in the plastics film extrusion manufacturing and equipment
  • A familiarity or working knowledge of other regulatory agencies, acts, laws, processes and procedures etc., such as the Environmental Protection Agency and the Occupational Health and Safety Administration.

Compensation Information:

$100,000-$120,000 with bonus potential
