Your Role and Responsibilities

An experienced z/OS specialist to join a professional team in a Mainframe (MF) environment. Responsible for maintenance, operation, and management of IBM Mainframe systems in a z/OS environment, working with critical system infrastructures for the organization, handling issues, improving performance, and supporting development and operations teams. The role includes ongoing maintenance, system stabilization, leading upgrades, and implementing operational standardization.

• Assist in operating and maintaining z/OS systems in an enterprise production environment
• Work with experienced teams to perform routine tasks
• Participate in monitoring processes, activities, IPLs, handling basic issues, and learning work procedures
• Implement operational standards and improve processes
• Collaborate with internal interfaces and provide infrastructure support to development teams
• Supporting the operation of IBM Mainframe systems
• Working on enterprise computing platforms critical for large-scale data processing and business processes
• Assisting in troubleshooting and performing maintenance tasks
• Collaborating with system, operations, and development teams
• Learning and deepening knowledge in Mainframe technologies with the goal of participating in and leading upgrade, standardization, and modernization projects

Required Education

Technical Diploma

Preferred Education

Associate's Degree/College Diploma

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Few years of experience in z/OS / Mainframe environments
• Basic knowledge and proven experience in TSO/ISPF, SDSF, JCL, REXX
• Willingness to learn additional technologies such as SMP/E, z/OSMF, Ansible for z/OS, Restful application development
• Good technical English

Preferred Technical and Professional Experience

• Advantage: Basic knowledge in COBOL or logical programming languages in Mainframe
• Advantage: Familiarity with databases (DB2, VSAM)
• Advantage: Familiarity with connectivity servers, applications, transactions: CICS, MQ, Web Sphere, z/OS Connect
