What You'll Do:
- Hunt & Close New Business
- Drive new logo acquisition by identifying, engaging, and converting prospects into long-term Apptio customers.
- Lead High-Value Conversations
- Act as a trusted advisor, understanding client needs and aligning them with Apptio's market-leading solutions.
- Forecast & Pipeline Management
- Accurately track deal progress, manage pipeline health, and deliver consistent revenue performance.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally
- Work closely with marketing, solution consultants, and partners to craft compelling sales strategies.
- Drive Thought Leadership
- Educate prospects on Technology Business Management (TBM) and Fin Ops best practices, positioning Apptio as the go-to solution in IT financial management.

What You Bring:
- Proven experience in B2B technology sales, with a strong track record of acquiring new business.
- Ability to engage C-Level and IT finance leaders in strategic conversations.
- Proficiency in consultative sales methodologies, value selling, and deal negotiation.
- Strong pipeline management skills, with the ability to drive opportunities from prospecting to close.
- Experience working in a SaaS, cloud, or financial technology environment is a plus.
