In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

An Application Consultant: Business Functions is responsible for leading design sessions with the implementation team to define the solution. They create and deliver crucial components of the systems design, with a particular focus on data migration rules. This role emphasizes the importance of clear communication and collaboration between the consultant and the implementation team to ensure a successful project outcome.

Required technical and professional expertise

• Rule Language Proficiency: Strong understanding of Decision Model and Notation (DMN) and the Rules language (DL)
• Ability to create and maintain dcision models using DMN Diagrams
• Proficiency writing clear, concise and accurate rules using ODM Rule Authoring Tool, including Object Constraint Language (OCL)
• Experience integrating ODM rules with other enterprise systems

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Proficiency in data analysis
• Familiarty with programming languages like Java or Python to automate or create custom scripts
• Knowledge and experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS)
