Your role and responsibilities
We are looking for a highly experienced Cloud System Administrator with10-15 years of IT infrastructure experience, specializing in cloud networking and security. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing operations and support in Azure and GCP environments, ensuring secure, stable, and efficient cloud infrastructure. Experience with Kubernetes and Open Shift is a significant plus. This is a mission-critical24/7 operations role requiring deep technical expertise and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and support cloud infrastructure, focusing on Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Design and manage secure cloud networking architectures, including VPCs, VNets, subnets, routing, firewalls, and VPNs.
- Implement and maintain cloud security controls, including IAM, policies, encryption, and access management.
- Monitor and troubleshoot network and security issues in real-time.
- Operate and support Kubernetes and Open Shift clusters, including configuration, scaling, and updates.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure secure deployment and operations of applications.
- Support database security practices, including encryption, role-based access control, and audit logging.
- Participate in incident response and root cause analysis for security and availability issues.
- Work as part of a rotational 24x7 support team and ensure high availability of services.

Required Qualifications:
- 10-15 years of hands-on experience in system/cloud administration with a strong focus on *networking and security.
- Proven experience managing cloud environments in Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, etc.).
- Expertise in cloud security best practices, IAM, data protection, and threat detection.
- Experience with Kubernetes and/or Open Shift in production environments.
- Familiarity with **infrastructure as code (IaC)**tools such as Terraform,Ansible, or ARM templates.
- Understanding of database security principles and compliance requirements.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in cloud-native environments
Preferred technical and professional experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in Azure or GCP (e.g., Azure Security Engineer Associate,Google Professional Cloud Security Engineer).
- Certifications such as CKA,CKS,RHCSA, or Red Hat Certified Specialist in Open Shift.
- Knowledge of SIEM,log aggregation, and cloud-native security tools (e.g., Microsoft Defender, Chronicle).
- Familiarity with compliance and regulatory frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC2, GDPR).
