Your role and responsibilities We are looking for a skilled Commerce Transformation Developer to join our team in Romania. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining backend, frontend and APIs for enterprise-grade e-commerce platforms.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, architects, and business analysts, to deliver high-quality and scalable solutions that meet our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend solutions using enterprise grade commerce engines, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.

• Design and implement APIs and integrations with third-party systems (e.g., payment gateways, ERP, and CRM).

• Participate in requirements gathering, solution design, and technical workshops with stakeholders.

• Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following best practices.

• Perform unit testing and assist in debugging and troubleshooting issues.

• Optimise backend processes for performance and scalability.

• Stay updated on commerce platforms and features and industry trends to drive innovation.

• Required education Bachelor's Degree Preferred education Bachelor's Degree Required technical and professional expertise Technical Skills- Strong proficiency in backend development with and javascript and typescript (node.js, angular/react) technologies.

• Hands-on experience with commercetools and other modern headless customer engagement and e-commerce platforms.

• Strong understanding of MACH architecture principles and their application customer experience.

• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, experience with GraphQL- Experience integrating with third-party systems (e.g., payment processors, logistics providers, enterprise-resource planning systems, ...).

• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

• Knowledge of java is a plus- Experience with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and data modeling.

• Soft Skills- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
