Gemeinsam entwirfst und bewertest du Plattformarchitekturen, führst Kundenworkshops durch und stellst sicher, dass Open Shift‑Lösungen zuverlässig, skalierbar und sicher betrieben werden können.
In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
Your role and responsibilities

• Als IT Architekt
• Public Sektor / Defense (m/w/d) bist du verantwortlich für die Gestaltung, Weiterentwicklung und Integration von Red Hat Open Shift‑basierten IT‑Systemen. Du entwirfst Architekturvarianten, planst Erweiterungen, integrierst Drittanbieterlösungen und stellst sicher, dass alle Anforderungen des Public‑ und Defence‑Umfelds erfüllt werden. Zu deinen Aufgaben gehören unter anderem:
• Beratung bei der Auswahl geeigneter Komponenten und Konfigurationen für die Open Shift Container Platform
• Erstellung von Architekturplänen mit Fokus auf Skalierbarkeit, Verfügbarkeit und Sicherheit
• Integration von Open Shift mit bestehenden Systemen, Tools und Betriebsprozessen
• Definition von Best Practices, Architekturstandards und Leitlinien für den OCP‑Einsatz
• Planung funktionaler Erweiterungen sowie Bewertung und Anpassung bestehender Lösungen
• Durchführung und Moderation von Kundenworkshops, inkl.

Betrachtung sicherheitsrelevanter Aspekte:

• Monitoring, Performance‑Optimierung und Effizienzsteigerung von OCP‑Umgebungen
• Abstimmung mit Herstellern, Partnern und internen Teams zur Koordination technischer Aktivitäten
• Architekturdesign im Bereich Infrastruktur und Integration, speziell im On‑Premises‑Kontext

Required technical and professional expertise

• Starke Erfahrung in der Beschreibung von IT‑Architekturen im Bereich Infrastruktur und Integration
• Verständnis serviceorientierter Architekturen
• Erfahrung in der Planung und im Betrieb von On‑Premises‑Systemen
• Erfahrung in der Durchführung von Architektur‑Workshops inkl. Security‑Betrachtung
• Starke Grundlagen in Architekturmethoden (z. B. NAF, TOGAF, ADMBw)
• Erfahrung in Planung und Koordination von Aktivitäten in technischen Teams
• Fähigkeit zur Abstimmung mit verschiedenen Herstellern sowie mit internen Teams
• Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse (C1‑Niveau)
• Bereitschaft zu Sicherheitsüberprüfung ist erforderlich

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Erfahrung im Design und der Bewertung von IT‑Architekturen mit AI‑Komponenten
• Gutes Verständnis von Cloud‑ und Containertechnologien inklusive Administration (Red Hat Open Shift, AWS, Azure)
• Kenntnisse in API‑Design und Integrationsmustern
• Verständnis für Compliance‑ und Sicherheitsanforderungen im Public‑/Defense‑Umfeld
• Erfahrung mit Kunden aus Public Sector oder Defense
• Erfahrung beim Aufbau von Hardwarekomponenten (Server, Netzwerkgeräte wie Router/Switches, Firewalls)
• Kenntnisse in Microsoft‑Technologien (Windows Server 2022+, Active Directory, Certificate Authority, Share Point, Hyper‑V, WSUS, Microsoft Installer)
• Kenntnisse in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL 8+, Ansible, Red Hat Repository)
• Erfahrung in VMware‑Virtualisierung (ESXi, v Sphere, v Center)
