How will you contribute to our magical experience?:
The Accounting & Controllership Associate Manager is responsible for supporting the overall Latam organization, providing controllership and business supervision and support, performing P&L and Balance Sheet analysis, ensuring financial statements are accurate, preparing reports and recommendations to Local and Corporate Management, for all the business cross LTAM in a multicurrency environment. A successful candidate is a self-starter who is willing to embrace a challenge and continually seeks opportunities for efficiency, innovation, and process improvement.
The Accounting & Controllership Associate Manager will be responsible for:
- Controllership Process leader and vendor service supervision in order to meet and exceed organizational goals.
- Coordinate, supervise and perform closing ensuring figures are accurate and in compliance with Accounting Policies (US GAAP, IFRS, other Local GAAPs). Also, perform key analysis for accounting treatment for any new business or non-recurring activity or new process.
- Lead complex projects which require decision-making skills and self-initiative.
- Perform Balance Sheet & P&L review and variance analyses by business to corporate management. Also, by legal entity to minimize fiscal risks and Intercompany modification proposal in order to achieve that objective (Transfer Pricing).
- Ensure all statutory controllership requirements are fulfilled timely along LATAM region and statutory audits are performed.
- Partner with Finance, Legal, Tax and other business teams to support the needs of the business.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and help implement to obtain efficiencies.
What we need from you to be part of this story:
- At least 2-4 years working in Accounting or Accounting Audit in supervisor roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or similar.
- Supervision and delegation skills.
- Strong analytical skills, being able to think big picture.
- Excellent communication, collaboration and negotiation skills with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
- Organized, versatile, flexible, self-motivated, and comfortable working in fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders.
- Presentation skills.
- Advanced English.
- Advanced Office.
- Sap is a plus.
- PowerBI is a plus.
- Industry experience in media and/or entertainment is a plus.
