Job Summary:
The Sr. Product Manager II will play a key role in redefining advertising technology for The Walt Disney Company. Reporting to an Executive Director of Product Management, you will drive the strategy and execution of products that power our digital advertising campaign management workflow automation capabilities.
You’ll collaborate closely with other Product Managers, Engineering, and cross-functional partners to deliver end-to-end solutions that streamline campaign operations, enhance efficiency, and elevate stakeholder experiences.
The ideal candidate is an action-oriented problem solver with hands-on experience in digital advertising platforms, campaign management workflows, and automation tools. You should be equally comfortable diving into technical details and aligning cross-functional teams around a shared vision. Responsibilities and Duties of the Role:
- Collect stakeholder use cases, translate them into detailed product specifications and user stories, create data flows, develop implementation plans, and document resources.
- Work with cross-functional teams, including Architecture, Design, Program, Engineering, and Business Stakeholders to align requirements and shape the product roadmap and strategy based on business priorities.
- Analyze qualitative and quantitative data to inform product decisions and drive improvements.
- Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure product release readiness, including providing training, documentation, and support to stakeholders and end users.
- Manage a portfolio of products and projects, ensuring timely execution against business goals.
- Identify, analyze, and recommend technical integration strategies with partners and vendors.
- Collaborate with other Product Managers to innovate platform services.
Required Education, Experience/Skills/Training:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in technology or business domains
- 7+ years in Product or similar roles supporting technical product development and/or designing and implementing complex technical solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically while also paying attention to detail.
- Effective prioritization skills and ability to make informed decisions in ambiguous situations.
- Proficient in leading through influence across different functions and organizational boundaries.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced operational environment characterized by frequent change.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Understanding of Product Management principles, product development processes, methodologies (Agile/Scrum), and best practices.
- Experience with advertising campaign management systems
The hiring range for this position in Santa Monica, CA-$141,900 - $190,300 per year, in SFO is $170,500 - $228,600, in Seattle and NY is $155,700 - $208,700, The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
