Senior Director, Website Strategy (Hub Spot.com)

Hub Spot.com is one of the most visited B2B SaaS websites in the world, attracting millions of visitors each month across English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, and Japanese markets. As Senior Director of Web Strategy, you’ll define how Hub Spot shows up to the world — helping buyers discover, learn, and buy in an era of rapidly evolving digital behavior.

You’ll lead a global team across chat, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and web strategy.
Your mission: Build a world-class, brand-defining website that helps prospects discover Hub Spot, converts interest into revenue, and sets the standard for modern web strategy in the AI era.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Shape the next generation of Hub Spot.com.
    Evolve the website to meet the needs of modern buyers who arrive more informed than ever with AI-driven, personalized experiences. Define and execute a forward-looking strategy that optimizes for answer engines and human interactions alike using AI to drive discovery, conversion and engagement.

  • Drive revenue.
    Own the demand goal for Hub Spot.com, driving both qualified leads and touchless purchases. Build a constant experimentation culture that uses AI and modern technology to optimize conversion and engagement. Turn innovation into measurable business impact.

  • Tell Hub Spot’s story through the website.
    Bring our evolving brand and AI story to life through clear copy, design, and interaction. Ensure the site communicates how Hub Spot helps companies grow, serving as both a storytelling and selling engine.

  • Deliver an exceptional experience.
    Use user research and behavioral insights to create a site that’s fast, intuitive, and helpful. Every visit should inform, inspire, and convert.

  • Lead and grow a high-performing team.
    Develop and empower a global team across conversational marketing, CRO, and web strategy. Build a culture that’s data-driven, curious, and innovation-minded, equipping the team to lead in the AI era.

  • Partner across Hub Spot.
    Collaborate with creative, mar-tech, brand, product marketing, and SEO/AEO to deliver experiences that balance storytelling, performance, and innovation.

We are looking for people who:

  • Are hands-on technologists who stay ahead of what’s next: Fluent in personalization, testing, and conversational marketing tools, and obsessed with experimenting with new AI technologies to push the boundaries of what’s possible on the web.

  • Bring 10+ years leading and scaling web strategy or digital growth in B2B SaaS, with a builder’s mindset that turns experimentation into scalable, measurable impact.

  • Are strategic and customer-obsessed, understanding how modern buyers research, evaluate, and buy, and how to meet them with personalized, frictionless experiences.

  • Have experience managing multilingual websites and scaling experiences globally.

  • Are curious builders and problem solvers who love testing, learning, and scaling what works.

  • Bring strong organizational and program management skills, leading complex, cross-functional initiatives with clarity and precision.

  • Are exceptional people leaders who attract and develop top talent, can thrive in growth and change, and can inspire a world-class team ready to shape the future of web strategy.

  • Excel at collaboration and communication, influencing across marketing, product, design, and engineering.

Pay & Benefits

The cash compensation below includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under Hub Spot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, some roles are eligible to participate in Hub Spot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are tailored to your skills, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.

Annual Cash Compensation Range:$231,000—$369,000 USD
