Description -

HP is seeking a transformational executive to lead its large scale Mexico market and guide an established team through a period of pivotal change and growth. This role is the most senior leadership position in-country, accountable for commercial strategy, operational excellence, cultural transformation, and overall business performance. The Mexico Market Managing Director will partner closely with LATAM, North America, and global leadership to accelerate growth, modernize operations, and strengthen HP’s presence in one of the company’s most strategically important markets.

About the Role

The Managing Director for Mexico is responsible for defining and executing the country’s long-term strategy, leading the Commercial Organization, and ensuring seamless integration with global and regional business priorities. This leader will manage the full P&L, drive market expansion, elevate customer and partner engagement, and cultivate a high-performance, inclusive culture.

This is an opportunity to lead HP Mexico through a transformation. The business requires a seasoned executive who can rebuild foundational capabilities, enhance the partner ecosystem, modernize go-to-market strategies, and architect a five-year strategy that positions HP Mexico as a technology innovation leader.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and execution of Mexico’s commercial strategy in alignment with LATAM and North America.

  • Drive market share growth, profitable expansion, and operational excellence across all commercial functions.

  • Oversee full P&L ownership for HP Mexico, ensuring financial performance, cost optimization, and disciplined resource allocation.

  • Inspire and develop a diverse team of seventy, including five direct reports, while fostering a strong leadership culture.

  • Strengthen customer and partner relationships and represent HP Mexico externally with industry groups, customers, and government entities.

  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and corporate governance standards.

  • Drive transformation initiatives that rebuild internal systems, partner strategy, and team culture.

  • Integrate work across business units, breaking down silos and improving cross-functional execution.

Candidate Profile

  • 15 or more years of senior leadership experience in technology or related sectors, with in-country leadership in Mexico.

  • Proven success leading large-scale organizations with strong multimillion-dollar P&L responsibility.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead transformation, influence diverse stakeholders, and inspire teams.

  • Deep understanding of Mexico’s commercial, cultural, and regulatory landscape.

  • Experience managing across complex, matrixed organizations.

  • Fluency in Spanish and English required.

  • HP experience is a plus but not required.

This role is suited for a decisive, people-centered, commercially minded leader who can balance strategic vision with operational execution. The Managing Director will play a critical role in strengthening HP’s position in Mexico and shaping the future trajectory of the market.
