What you will do:

The Payment Technology team provides integrated payment solutions for all mi HoYo products across Mainland China and overseas markets. Our systems cover a wide range of core capabilities, including cross-platform product pricing, global payment method integration, intelligent transaction routing, targeted promotional discounts, fraud detection and prevention, as well as real-time data analytics and reconciliation.
As a mission-critical module that directly impacts player experience and company revenue, we place a strong emphasis on technical excellence to ensure our systems remain highly available and scalable.

Being one of the core members in our backend engineering team, you will:

Design, develop, and maintain core systems related to payins, payouts, promotions, delivering an optimal payment experience for global users across multiple games

Play a major role in the architectural design of team-owned microservices, upholding high standards in high concurrency, high availability, maintainability, scalability, and robustness; and actively promote best engineering practices, including end-to-end stress testing, chaos engineering, CI/CD pipelines, canary releases, multi-cluster environments, and traffic tagging

Leverage the company’s AI infrastructure to lead and drive the adoption of AI capabilities across payment development, operations, and support scenarios, including but not limited to:

Using LLMs to improve development efficiency (e.g., AI-assisted code generation/refactoring, code review, and technical design support)

Building intelligent agents for the payment domain (e.g., online alert investigation assistants, customer complaint handling bots, and business-side integration Q&A assistants)

Contribute to service reliability and stability, including monitoring setup, SOP improvement, incident troubleshooting, and emergency response

What you will need:

Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science or a related field, with at least 3 years of backend development experience

Proficiency in at least one programming language with 3+ years of hands-on experience, and experience in developing and maintaining large-scale, core microservice architectures; solid understanding of service governance and observability

Familiarity with web application development and related technology stacks, such as HTTP, databases, caching systems, and message queues

Solid understanding of mainstream AI and large language model fundamentals and application patterns; hands-on experience with AI programming tools such as Cursor; ability to:

Build MCP servers to extend model tooling

Create AI agents with popular frameworks

Maintain RAG-based knowledge base systems

Optimize and evaluate prompt design

Ability to act as the owner of assigned projects and independently drive all phases, including requirement discussion, technical design, development, testing, and delivery

Fluent in English and Mandarin, able to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external payment partners

Bonus points:

Experience integrating with payment gateways, payment service providers (PSPs), or card networks; or experience developing financial/accounting software

Proven experience applying AI tools in real-world business or engineering workflows, such as integrating LLMs with internal systems or building Q&A/chatbots on internal communication platforms

Experience with public cloud platforms such as Alibaba Cloud or AWS, with knowledge of common Paa

S and IaaS offerings:

Strong understanding of common computer security technologies and principles, such as encryption/decryption algorithms, hashing algorithms, and key management services
